Iconograph: Bea Feitler
Visual Identity
Spring 2023, Visual Communication I
This iconographic logo pays tribute to the renowned graphic designer and art director Bea Feitler, celebrated for her bold, colorful, and playful work with Rolling Stone, Harper’s Bazaar, and Ms. during the 1960s and 1970s. Feitler's designs are known for their vibrant colors, maximalist style, and dynamic poses.
I was tasked with creating a logo that could be used for merchandise, exhibitions, and branding in Feitler's honor. To reflect her distinctive aesthetic, I chose an illustrative approach and designed the logo in Illustrator, using a photograph of a friend in a signature Feitler-inspired pose as a reference.
